Inline water filters for drinking water, chillers, sparkling water systems and reverse osmosis

Inline water filters are compact cartridges used for water treatment in residential, professional and Ho.Re.Ca. systems. They are installed directly on the water line and are commonly used on water chillers, sparkling water systems, dispensers, reverse osmosis units, coffee machines, post-filtration stages and under-sink systems.

What inline water filters are

Compact installation
An inline filter is installed directly on the water tube, without a traditional filter housing. It is a practical solution when space is limited and installation needs to be simple.
Different filter media
Inline filters may contain sediment media, granular activated carbon, carbon block, bacteriostatic media, resins, mineral salts or specific media for post-filtration and taste improvement.
Easy replacement
When the filter is exhausted, the entire inline cartridge is replaced. Maintenance is quick, especially when the system is equipped with quick-connect fittings and shut-off valves.

Main applications

Drinking water
Inline filters can improve water taste and odor, reduce chlorine and suspended particles depending on the cartridge type and filter media used.
Water chillers and sparkling water systems
They are often used on water chillers, dispensers, sparkling water systems and cold or carbonated water units where compact size, proper flow rate and scheduled maintenance are required.
Reverse osmosis
In reverse osmosis systems, inline filters can be used as pre-filters, carbon post-filters, remineralizers or final stages to improve the taste of produced water.
Coffee machines and compact systems
In compact installations, inline filters can help protect equipment, improve incoming water quality and reduce impurities that may affect system operation.

What to check before choosing

Connection type
Always check tube diameter, thread, quick fitting, filter inlet and outlet. An incorrect connection may prevent installation or create leaks.
Flow direction
Many inline filters have a specified flow direction. Correct installation is important to ensure proper operation of the filter media.
Flow rate and capacity
The choice should consider treated liters, required flow rate, operating pressure and frequency of system use.
Helpful tip:
Before replacing an inline water filter, always check installation direction, fitting type, flow rate, pressure and final application: drinking water, water chiller, sparkling water system, reverse osmosis or post-filtration.
