The ION-RO250 is a latest-generation Made in Italy reverse osmosis system for residential and professional use, combining top-of-the-range performance with a unique design.

Available in many configurations to suit any requirement, in its two ways version it instantly provides still and sparkling ambient temperature water to satisfy everyone's preferences.

Osmosis is a natural phenomenon for which a lean solution of mineral salts passes through a semipermeable membrane to go into another solution in order to dilute a greater salt concentration. By applying reverse pressure to this process you get REVERSE OSMOSIS: by forcing a solution with high concentration of minerals against a special membrane, you will get PURE WATER. Due to its structure and properties the membrane retains almost completely dissolved salts, heavy metals, pollutants, bacteria and viruses but leaving the water to pass through in all its genuine purity. The water thus obtained has the property to cleanse the body by removing toxins, and its high draining property makes it not only diuretic but also able to dissolve fats and lipids thus keeping an healthy body and a fresh and glowing skin. The Reverse Osmosis is therefore the water purification system most safe and most widespread in the world; in addition to the basic reliability of the process, other advantages are represented by the simplicity of assembly, by the low cost of operation and by the total absence of chemical products. The osmotic process is able to remove from water all impurities and pollutants harmful to health. The pure water obtained from this process is the ideal solution for home usage and food consumption as its unique filtration system is a safety barrier against different pollutants in aquifers.
The purification system for reverse osmosis is formed by components of the absolute high quality level. It’s a product that is normally designed for professional use, but in this case was designed and configured for home usage.

Electronics
The system is entirely managed by an advanced electronic control unit with a 2,8" TFT touch-screen display, allowing the user to control all dispensing, configuration, and diagnostic functions directly from the graphical interface.
The electronic and software architecture has been designed to ensure maximum reliability, ease of use, and complete control of the device’s operation, with automatic management of operating parameters, alarms, and maintenance.

Bottle counter and sustainability
The machine integrates a digital volumetric flow meter that accurately measures the dispensed water.
The display shows a dedicated “bottles saved” counter (1 liter dispensed = 1 bottle saved), ideal for monitoring consumption and evaluating the environmental impact of using the system.

User menu
Within the user menu it is possible to access three different system functions:
- Display orientation: depending on the desired installation type, it is possible to rotate the display orientation vertically or horizontally. In this way, even in toe-kick installation, the user can easily view all information displayed on the screen.
- Bottle counter reset: with a simple tap on the dedicated icon, it is possible to reset the bottle counter.
- Manual flushing: possibility to start a 30 seconds manual flushing cycle by opening the inlet volumetric solenoid valve.

Technical menu protected by PIN
Through the dedicated technical menu accessible after entering a numeric PIN, it will be possible to set filters and membranes life and perform their resets.

Filters and membranes management and maintenance
The software allows automatic monitoring of the filters and membranes life through time-based control: 6/12 months for filters, 12/24 months for membranes.
Thanks to the dedicated icon on the display, the user will be able to monitor the filters and membranes life status at any time until the set threshold is reached, facilitating preventive maintenance.

Advanced safety and diagnostic system
The device integrates several protection and automatic diagnostic systems:
- Water shortage alarm
- Carbonator filling control
- Flood alarm
- Motor overheating alarm
The alarms are displayed through dedicated icons on the display, allowing rapid intervention by the operator.

Anti-flood system
Through the use of a dedicated anti-flood system, as soon as the sensor inside the system detects a drop of water, it immediately closes the inlet solenoid valve, preventing any flooding risk from the outset.

The reverse osmosis is not a device that makes water drinkable(non-drinkable water into drinkable water) and it work only if it's installed on water compliant with the law, municipal potable water or well water if previously made drinkable with adequate and effective systems, preventively studied and personalized for that kind of water.
Do not use the system where the water is microbiologically dangerous or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. All systems must be preserved according to the producer instructions.
The pollutant parts removed or reduced by this system are not necessarily in your water.
In case of potable inlet water of bad quality, it's possible to close all the outgoing mineral salts regulator (TDS) and to mount, as the last stage, a remineralizer filter that stabilizes the Ph.
1x Ionicore remineralizer PH adjustment coconut in line filter (GAC) 1/4" FPT 2"x10".

Replace filters when capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow, every 6 months but at least annually.
Replace membranes when total dissolved solids (TDS) are no longer reduced, or when flow becomes too slow, but at least every 24 months.
