Freshpoint is Pentair’s new solution for water filtration.
Available as either one, two or three stage systems, they feature an effortless click in lock installation and a unique encapsulated cartridge technology in the industry, and avoids the presence of contaminants in its water and allows you to save time and money.
Thanks to this system, users are safe from harmful pollutants such as lead, cysts and chlorine.

Freshpoint PFAS-certified two-/three-stage filtration system
- The models F2000-B2B, F3000-B2B are certified by IAPMO R&T against NSF/ANSI 53 for up to 98% reduction of PFAS (perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS)).

Freshpoint filtration systems will act on:
- Chlorine: by far the most common complaint. Regularly used by municipal water suppliers for disinfection, it often causes unpleasant taste and odor in drinking water.
- Fine sediments and high turbidity: suspended dirt particles affect water clarity. These particles range from larger elements to invisible ones, making water appear cloudy and risking accumulation or clogging in water-using appliances such as ice machines, eventually leading to malfunction.

All Freshpoint filtration systems, except model F1000-DFB, are NSF certified to remove the following contaminants:
- Lead: a heavily regulated metal. Lead poisoning can cause neurological deficiencies and birth defects.
- Cysts: Giardia, Entamoeba and Cryptosporidium are parasites that cause cramps, vomiting and diarrhea.
- Atrazine: banned in the EU in 2004, still one of the most commonly used herbicides in agriculture in the United States and Australia. Studies suggest it may disrupt the hormonal system.
- Lindane: a chemical used as an agricultural insecticide. It can damage the nervous system, liver and kidneys and may be carcinogenic.

Initially, filtered water may appear cloudy. If cloudiness in a glass of water disappears from the bottom; fine air bubbles are present. This air within the water will disappear within a few weeks after installation. After prolonged periods of non-use (such as during a vacation) it is recommended that the system be flushed thoroughly. Let water run for 5–6 minutes before using. The filter cartridges used with this system have a limited service life. Changes in taste, odor, and/or flow of the water being filtered indicate the cartridge should be replaced.

Activation: it is advisable to run water through the filter at maximum pressure and full flow rate, for at least 5 minutes to allow air purging and flushing of cartridge.

Do not use the product with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
The contaminants removed or reduced by this system are not necessarily present in your water.
