Triple-action filtration system consisting of a high-capacity buffered weak cation exchange resin, carbon fiber and silverized granular activated carbon (GAC), designed for the treatment of potable water intended for hot beverage preparation and professional beverage systems.

The three-stage cartridge combines softening, pH buffer correction and water filtration, ensuring balanced treatment that helps maintain water delivery with near-neutral pH.

The mechanical filtration action reduces sediments and impurities thanks to a filtration rating of 0,5 micron.

The chemical adsorption action performed by silverized granular activated carbon, derived from coconut shell, effectively removes chlorine and its derivatives and contributes to the reduction of metals and toxic organic compounds, improving the organoleptic characteristics of the treated water.

The ion exchange action performed by the weak cation resin reduces carbonate hardness, treats calcium and magnesium, helps limit scale formation and ensures water with low fixed residue, protecting equipment and boilers from limescale deposits.

DEMIKAL® PLUS filters are used in treatments of water intended for hot beverage production, vending machines, coffee machines and in all those applications where calcium and magnesium carbonates need to be reduced.

Filters with Rapid System connection to be used with the appropriate filter head. The connection is compatible with filter heads of the main products available on the market.

• Activation: it is recommended to flush water through the filter at maximum pressure and flow rate for 5 minutes in order to allow the air inside the cartridge to be purged.

• Cartridge replacement: it is recommended to replace the unit every 6 months and/or when its capacity is exhausted or when water hardness is higher than required.

Do not use with microbiologically unsafe or unknown quality water without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Use only with potable water. All systems must be maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
